Within 10 minutes drive you can discover another 10 beaches. |

Visitors are well catered for with a large selection of restaurants and bars catering for all tastes and budgets. The restaurants still provide traditional Portuguese cooking specialising in both meat and fish. The larger town of Portimao is nearby with an excellent range of shops. The conveniently situated Carvoeiro is only 7 minutes from "Slide and Splash" Water Park and 15 minutes from the popular Zoo Marine, famous for its dolphin display. There is also no need for the holiday golfer to miss out! Carvoeiro excels with its nearby golf courses Gramacho, Vale de Pinta and Vale de Milho to name a few. |
